Masa did it!

Masa at Croguay Republic
Our friend Masa did it as he had promised he would! Yatta!!!

Yoku dekimashita! Omedetou!!

We at the Republic are very proud of our friend whom we helped prepare for such an important event by providing him with the right amount of calories necessary to undertake such an effort! (as seen on the picture to the right)

As you can see by the official result above, it took him a bit over 6 hours to complete the full length of the track.

We are anxiously waiting for his return to hear his own account of the events and to know how he felt while pushing his body to its limits.

On the meantime, please check his blog where he posted how he trained for the race.

Thanks Masa for the good news! Otsukaresama deshita!!!

Vive la difference!

Toward no crimes have men shown themselves so cold-bloodedly cruel as in punishing differences of belief.
James Russell Lowell

Diversity is not about how we differ.
Diversity is about embracing one another's uniqueness.

True observation begins when one is devoid of set patterns.

If man is to survive, he will have learned to take a delight in the essential differences between men and between cultures. He will learn that differences in ideas and attitudes are a delight, part of life's exciting variety, not something to fear.

We all live with the objective of being happy; our lives are all different and yet the same.

The wave of the future is not the conquest of the world by a single dogmatic creed but the liberation of the diverse energies of free nations and free men.
